Alli Arthur Grab your rakes, pick out your pumpkins, and find a costume, because it's finally fall! The weather is obviously changing, but what else is going on? We've got the hottest events around Findlay to keep you busy this season. If you're ready to get your spook on, the Train of Terror and Haunted Engine House kicks off on Friday, Oct. 4. It continues through the first three Fridays and Saturdays in October at the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation building in Findlay. The Cemetery Lantern tour takes place on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 6-9 p.m.. at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay. Make sure to call ahead, because reservations are required. The last spooky event on our calendar is the Crawford Haunted House. This takes place Saturday, Oct. 26 from 7-9 p.m.. The event takes place at 422 W. Sandusky St. in Findlay. If you're looking for some more innocent fun, check out the Pumpkin Train! On Sunday, Oct. 20 from 1-4 p.m., you can take a ride on the not-so-spooky train to the pumpkin patch, where you can pick out your favorite pumpkin. Last but not least, don't forget our homecoming game Friday, Oct. 4, here at Van Buren's football stadium, followed by the homecoming dance on Saturday, Oct. 5.
