This week at VB, spring sports are in full swing! Varsity softball will take on their first BVC opponent Cory Rawson tonight at 5:00 p.m. at Cory Rawson. On Tuesday, the team will play Hopewell-Loudon at Hopewell Loudon at 5:00 p.m. On Wednesday, the team takes on Vanlue at Vanlue at 5:00 p.m. Finally, on Thursday, the busy team will play their last game of the week against Fostoria St. Wendelin at 5:00 p.m. at home. Varsity baseball will also take on Cory Rawson tonight at Cory Rawson at 5:00 p.m. On Tuesday, the team will play Hopewell-Loudon at Hopewell-Loudon at 5:00 p.m. On Wednesday, the team will take on Vanlue at Vanlue at 5:00 p.m. The team will wrap up their week on Friday at Lake High School at 7:00 p.m. The track team will be hosting the Doug Mowrey Invitational at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. In other news, a pinger locator in the Indian Ocean was detected by Australian officials. This pinger is believed to be a part of the Malaysian aircraft that disappeared mysteriously over the ocean last month. Officials say that finding this pinger should be a promising lead in finding the aircraft. |
