On this cold Friday night, there is more to remember than just the score of the game, or what songs the band played. Tonight was to acknowledge the senior football, cross-country, boys and girls golf, and band players of Van Buren. It was for one last time for band director Rick Eakin to direct his band members on a Friday Night. Tonight was also a night for the senior football players, Joey Nelson, Jake Kelley, Kurt Gibson, Colin Hiatt, and Nick Hoehn to show their fans one more time what they are made of. The football team finished with 4-6 record with a 24-14 loss to the McComb Panthers. Friday Nov. 1 is surely a "Knight" to remember.
