Day 20: Christmas time is all about family so call a relative! Maybe one you haven’t talked to in awhile, catch up with them and let them know how much they mean to you. And the winner is... Mr. Rader! Mr. Rader received the most votes for the teacher's ugly sweater contest that has been going on all week, raising money for the Jenny Masters Scholarship. Check out the trophy case to see which teacher wore each less-than-merry-and-bright Christmas sweater. As Christmas draws nearer and the holiday joy rises, so is the temperature which means snow is melting. Meteorologists are calling for a very wet Christmas and with the town's previous records of flooding, Findlay residents could be in for a lot of unwelcome issues as the snow that gave county schools their precious two-hour delays turns into something dangerous. Tonight the basketball boys take on Arcadia. Students planning on attending should wear their ugliest Christmas sweater as the pep club wishes to spread the Christmas cheer at the boys' last home game before Christmas. The seniors' Christmas cookie sale will be taking place tonight at the boys' basketball game. A tray full of about three dozen holiday treats is priced at $10. Seniors are reminded that their cookies must be turned in by noon today and volunteers are needed to help arrange and sell the trays. |
