Van Buren is in full go with the annual canned food drive for the holidays. Starting on November 11th and going through the 22nd students are asked to donate and bring in canned food. The goal for this year is 6,000 cans. If students bring in 10 cans to their first period class they are able to attend a movie that will be shown the day before Christmas break, but the goal of 6,000 cans must be reached in order to have the movie shown. This weekend would be a great opportunity to go out and get some cans to bring in on Monday! The canned food drive is also a great way to help someone else out! Have a great weekend! |
