The VB girls' basketball team's season came to end on Wednesday Feb. 19 as they fell to the Rockets in their first tournament game. They ended their season with a record of 4-16 overall and 3-7 in the BVC. The top scorers for the Black Knights this year were junior Nichole Miller, who averaged 10.8 points per game, and senior Paige Sudlow who averaged 11.5 per game. Miller also recorded a team high of 40 steals to help the team average 12.6 steals per game. Sudlow pulled down the most rebounds (130) for VB and junior Lauren Wise was second with 70. Junior Rachel Wymer, who was the girls' go-to point guard, dished out 38 assists.
