Day 25: Read some of the scriptures in the bible to really understand the reason for celebrating Christmas. Refer to Isaiah 9:6-7 Luke 2:1-20 Today is Christmas! All around the globe this morning people sat around a decorated tree with their family to give and receive presents of all sorts. Some of this years most popular gifts include; the Xbox One, the Play Station 4, various smart phones, tablets, and toys such as the Furby Boom, the Giggly Monkey, and classics like the Barbie Dream House and Legos. In other news, many across the country are without power and the cold weather makes it very hard to help these conditions. As for places like Van Buren, rain melted away any possibility of losing power along with the possibility of a white Christmas.  Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber announced on twitter Christmas Eve that he has decided to officially retire. This could possibly be a publicity stunt to promote his new movie Believe, or maybe Bieber has decided he needs a break from his career. |
