Today, Oct 3, was a busy day for athletes at Van Buren. The boy's golf team placed third at the OHSAA District Tournament; this means that they will be going to State next week for the fourth consecutive year. They'll leave Thursday morning for the practice round, and the tournament will be Friday and Saturday. Both soccer teams were in action tonight. The girl's team was at Fort Jennings, and returned home with a victory of 2-0, making their record 9-4-1. Boy's soccer was also away at Old Fort, where they shut out the opposition with a final score of 8-0, making their record 9-5. |
