Today at Van Buren:
Sophomores will be taking the PLAN test in the auditorium at the start of school.
There will be a Quiz Bowl practice at 4 p.m. after school in the library.
The volleyball banquet will be held in the elementary cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. tonight, while a parent meeting for wrestling will happen in the high school cafeteria at 7 p.m..
Auditions for drama club will be today and tomorrow from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., where those who wish to audition must sign up and then perform a memorized one to two minute monologue. All materials and necessities can be received from Mrs. Erickson or Mr. Vaughn.
Seniors need to remember the forms from Jostens, as the representative will be in the cafeteria during lunch tomorrow.
In school news, the renewal of Van Buren's five-year $6 million levy passed, with 69 percent in favor.
