    The first National Honor Society Blood Drive of the year will take place during the school day on Dec. 17 in the high school gym, open to anyone who wishes to participate that is 17 years of age or older. On average, each unit of blood donated saves three lives, so why not give? Van Buren students donate nearly one hundred units to the cause each year.
