Just when it seemed as if accusations against former comedian Bill Cosby had finally come to an end, a new allegation surfaced from model Chloe Goins. As of Wednesday, Jan. 14, Goins has met with Los Angeles police detectives to pursue criminal charges against Cosby. During a press conference after meeting with the L.A.P.D., Goins’ attorney Spencer Kuvin stated that they were there “for two reasons: for justice and accountability.” Goins did not speak at the press conference. Goins said Cosby drugged her and was standing over her when she awoke naked. Kuvin said Goins came forward after hearing about other women describing abuse by Cosby, realizing there might have a valid criminal case. Kuvin also responded the week previously to reports that the Playboy Mansion maintains surveillance videotapes that could prove Goins’ claims of being molested by Cosby. “The information about the cameras is general knowledge from other Playboy playmates. We hope that the L.A.P.D. would execute a search warrant to obtain those tapes,” Kuvin told FOX411. “I would hope that those tapes exist, and I hope they would know that those tapes should be maintained because they are key evidence in both a criminal and civil investigation.” |
