Emily Anderbery Aaron Scasny is starting off his show choir season as a dance captain for The Association. The award-winning show choir just recently won the People’s Choice Award and Grand Champion of Class C at the Findlay Fest. Scasny is a four year member and enjoys the show this year due to its connectivity with the audience and the performers. In regards to being a leader in the group he says, “The biggest difficulty is not being able to have everyone there for the rehearsal, but despite the constant absence of our group’s members everyone real seems to care.” He also enjoys being able to share his thoughts with the group. Aaron plans to attend college this following Autumn, and either attend University of Dayton, Ohio University, Miami University, or The Ohio State University. Scasny hopes to major in Business Management or Economics. He is also involved with golf and choir as well as show choir. Scasny has enjoyed his experience as a Black Knight and says he will miss the people. He is excited to take on a new part of his life and experience the trials and triumphs that come with it. Aaron is a proud member of the class of 2015 and believes that his classmates will do great things. When asked about his favorite memory in high school, he said, “I don’t think you can define 4 years into one memory.” What are the three most underrated flavors from Dietchs? Lemon Custard, Orange Pineapple, and Coffee. What would you get your significant other for Valentine’s Day? Chocolate covered pretzels, definitely. What would be the perfect theme and song choice for a show choir show? 50s show is a really good idea, and a lot of Elvis. How do you think it feels to be in love? Just something special between you and that person. Something that you don’t get from other people that you’re around on a daily basis. What’s your ideal date? Hanging out, go to a movie, and get some dinner. What would you wear on a first date? Definitely a button up shirt and a sweater. |
