Rachel Silver

         Alex Dewey recently finished out his fourth and final season of soccer after battling Ottawa Hills into overtime. In his final season, Alex and his team were Sectional champions. While he was on offense as a forward through most of the season, Alex was recently moved to sweeper (the last defender).

He was successful on both ends of the field, although he enjoyed playing up top more. “I like to score,” said Alex, but who doesn’t?

After high school, Alex plans on attending college. He hopes to go to Hobart Institute of Welding Technology in Troy, Ohio.

What is your favorite part about soccer? I just enjoy my teammates.

What is your favorite sport to watch? NBA basketball, I’m a Cavs fan.

What is your favorite activity aside from sports? Spending time with family.

Best high school memory? When I met Hannah Bayer.

If you were an animal what would you be and why? A tiger. They’re fast and ferocious.

What was your favorite childhood TV show? Dexter’s Laboratory

What was your favorite way to get pumped for a game? Listening to music.

What is the top thing on your bucket list? I really want to travel Europe.
