Alli Arthur  Drew Patterson, a man of many talents, added one more accomplishment to his list. On Oct. 4, 2013, Patterson was named the homecoming king of Van Buren High School. Patterson said, “I was excited and humbled that my classmates would choose me for such an honor.”
In addition to being crowned homecoming king, Patterson is senior class president, participates in varsity golf and is a member of the show choir's band, The Essentials. Drew hopes to attend Belmont University in Tennessee. He plans to major in Biology or Pre-Dental. What was your favorite part of being on homecoming court? I enjoyed spending time with my fellow classmates that were on court. What is your favorite song to listen to before a match? Anything by The Avett Brothers. What was your favorite TV show as a kid? When I was younger I watched a lot of Drake and Josh. My favorite movie will always be The School of Rock. What is your favorite part about being a senior? Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed my time at VB, but the best thing about being a senior is being so close getting out of here and starting a new part of my life. |
