While Joey Nelson spends a good amount of time leading his teammates into a promising football season as a football captain, he still balances school and friends. “As a freshman, I thought it would be the best year ever,” says Joey when asked about senior year. “Now it’s stressful. Junior year was much more laid back.”

Joey hopes to attend the Ohio State University, majoring in some form of engineering. In regards to college, Joey advises to, “Get on your college stuff early so you’re not stressing over it all year.”
