Brice Lawrence Mac Williams has participated in basketball and golf all four years of his high school career; lettering two and one years respectively. Mac has also participated in Varsity Choir and National Honor Society for the last two years. Mac has been able to maintain a high grade point average throughout high school, and is planning to spend his next four years at the University of Findlay: majoring in Political Science. This year was Mac’s first time playing in the State Golf Tournament, and he said it was by far his favorite sports memory of all-time. Mac was able to hang out with his teammates, saying, “knowing I was one of 60 kids playing in the State Golf Tournament, it was pretty sweet.” When asked to describe Coach Heitkamp in five words or less, Mac said it was “impossible.” In 10 words or less, Mac was able to describe Heitkamp as, “Driven, compassionate, intense, motivated, cares about each golfer individually.” What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?: Golfing is high up there, but watching the Michigan game with some friends, even if they lose. Describe a “perfect day”: A good breakfast with some waffles, a little bit of french toast, and some sausage. Then we play golf until we get tired. And then we go home and watch some Michigan football with Mamma Williams’ spaghetti. What would be your last meal?: It has to be Mamma Williams’ spaghetti, with some garlic toast and great salad. What will you miss most from high school?: The people. Coming to school and saying ‘hi’ to everyone. Keeping up with a ‘select few’ friends If you could star in any movie, which one would it be and why?: The Greatest Game Ever Played, and replacing Shia Labeouf in the 1918 U.S. Open. |
