Paige Sudlow This winter senior Madi Endicott can be caught on the basketball court, taking stats for the boys basketball team, working hard in the classroom, or at church on Sundays. She also participates in soccer, track, Black Knight Breakfast Club, Mentoring, Educating the little tikes at church, Art IV, tutoring, NHS, and being one of the three senior editors Knight Writer throughout the year, which makes for a busy school year for this senior. That doesn’t stop Endicott from maintaining a 4.0 in the classroom with hard work and dedication. Or restrict her in the athletic realm lettering all four years and earning a spot in the first team all NOCSA this year for soccer, lettering three out of the four years in basketball, and hopes to snatch a fourth letter in the spring after lettering her first three years in track. She also makes free time in her busy schedule, which she fills up with many different activities . “I love to bake, make crafts, read... I read 13 books this summer, exercise and coming up with my own workouts,” explained Endicott. This “triple-threat” senior plans to attend either Ashland University or The Ohio State University, with a major in exercise science in hopes of being a rehabilitation specialist, and possibly minor in journalism. What is your most valuable possession, and why? I have a book that my mom made me with a whole bunch of empty pages where I put all my favorite quotes, bible verses and stuff. It’s for my future daughter so she can see what I was like in high school and my advice to her as she goes through school. Describe your funniest high school memory. Probably anytime Rachell Resnik, Paige Sudlow and I are together doing stats, but one that other people may think is funny is when I peed my pants in gym class sophomore year. If you could be the best at anything what would it be? Forgetting what people think and just doing what I want, being adventurous and not getting embarrassed. If you had an unlimited source of money, what would you spend it on? When we were in China we visited an orphanage for disabled children and with an unlimited amount of money I would get them a new place to live, an actual adoption agency so they can have a loving family instead of just living in the orphanage, diapers, food, and just change their lives because they had horrible conditions, and I want to see them get better. What is your favorite quote? “All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery and I promise you something great will come of it.” - Benjamin Mee We Bought a Zoo. Who do you look up to the most, and why? I definitely look up to my dad the most because he is just a hard worker and has taught me a lot about life. He is a really good Christian role model in my life which is huge for me. He also has a lot of love and really works hard for my family and I want to be like his when I am older. |
