Fall is a busy time for senior Paige Sudlow, who is captain of the volleyball team as well as this year's homecoming queen. When asked how she felt about being crowned queen, Sudlow says, “I was surprised because I thought anyone could have gotten it, but I was also happy.” She also strives to leave a positive impact on her volleyball team for years to come.

Her future plans include majoring in Social Work or Nursing. She is still in the process of selecting a college.

What is your favorite way to get pumped for a game? I like to be goofy with my teammates rather than serious. I would rather lose the nerve as opposed to build it up.

What is your favorite memory from homecoming weekend? Walking out on the court and seeing my best friend Heather Clark in the stands. She surprised me and came home from Columbus.

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? I would keep some for myself, give some to my parents to help them out, and donate to the Van Buren community because they have helped me out so much.

Who is your favorite Disney princess and why? Cinderella because she is so cute and she was my favorite when I was younger.

If you could go on a dream vacation, where would it be? On an Alaskan cruise because I've never been and I love trying new things.

What is your favorite way to relax? We got a new hot tub...but I also like to go home and talk to my parents. I like to vent.
